Meera was the TU CASA programs very first out of state student. When we received the call, the family had mentioned that they had been doing research on post-secondary programs for their daughter and this was the one that interested Meera the most. Shortly after that call, they applied and when the call was made for interviews, the family and Meera flew from Georgie to tour the campus.

Meera had many challenges, but she was sure of Texas A&M University- San Antonio. She became our most social student that attended as many events as she could. She incorporated herself into the TAMUSA community and lived in the dorms, attended social clubs, and held an officer role for the AmigXs Club. She graduated this past Spring and officially became TAMUSA and TU CASA alumni.
